Ultrasonic diagnostic

We use ultrasonic diagnostics across several medical disciplines. The highest-class devices help orthopaedists in the examination of the musculoskeletal system, in the application of blood plasma, but also in the examination of neonatal hips. We use ultrasound to examine veins and arteries in angiology and for echocardiography in cardiology.

We perform neonatal hip ultrasound at all branches of the ORP Centrum - ORP Juliska, ORP Marjánka, ORP Statenice. We make an appointment for babies aged 3-4 weeks. Mothers have a pre-arranged date, a pleasant environment with a changing table, parking is right in front of the ORP Centrum.

WHAT IS TO BE DONE?

  • Call 777 917 739 (if you want to go to Prague 6) or 773 217 737 (if you want to go to Statenice)
  • Check in at the reception and wait with the pram or carrier right in front of the surgery, where the nurse will call you
  • Take one spare diaper, one cloth diaper and a health insurance card with you
  • The orthopaedist uses an ultrasound to examine the movement of the hips, instructing you on what package to use for the baby
