Running and walking analysis

Thanks to the perfect equipment of our ‘running laboratory’, you have the chance to watch your own run live. The physiotherapist monitors both your run and focuses on the individual areas where you have a problem. The goal is to practice the right style of running, eliminate pain and advise on suitable footwear.

Video analysis of walking and running is not just for athletes! After all, 90% of people walk and run wrong. We record and transfer your running and walking on the treadmill to a computer using a special program. Only then will you see for yourself what mistakes you are making and the physiotherapist will explain to you why your legs, knees, but also your back hurt. Set aside at least an hour for video analysis, bring sports clothes (shorts and sports shoes) with you. After the analysis, you can have the Formthotics insoles made and start your new era of running or walking.

How does the run analysis work?

Running on a treadmill takes place at a speed that is normal for the runner. The runner is captured by the rear camera system. All you need is short sports shorts and running shoes. It is necessary to reserve 60 minutes of your time for the overall examination and the final consultation.

How does the run analysis work?

What the examination will allow:

  • define disorders of movement stereotypes
  • find out the cause of pain in different parts of the body (ankles, knees or back)
  • eliminate and correct identified disorders and muscle imbalances

What follows after the analysis?

After completing the run analysis, you will receive a graphical evaluation of your running technique, including the conclusions by the physiotherapist. As part of the consultation when watching the video, you will always receive recommendations on how to eliminate shortcomings, how to train, what running shoes are suitable for you, we will recommend the ultralight Formthotics insoles. There will be a check-up after six months to review the changes.

‘I’m an avid runner myself. There is nothing easier than start to run. But pain can come after a few tens of minutes. The reason may be bad shoes, unnecessarily strained muscles or even flat feet. But we are able to fix all this.’
