Stand and gait analysis consists in the analysis of the position of the feet under static and dynamic load using a special footscan and computer software. Simply put, the point is that you are walking or standing on a footscan that can capture the footprints and pressures of your soles and transfer them to a computer, all that in front of the physiotherapist’s eyes. The basis is a correct assessment of how the feet behave at rest and in motion, during rebound, when stepping, etc. It is easier to find out where the origin of the pain is, for example the soles of the feet or the supporting joints, and how the foot works under specific exercise. The examination is paid for by most health insurance companies, and we often use it for pain in the soles of the feet, supporting joints and heavy load on the feet at the ORP Centrum. The examination lasts about 20 minutes, it is done barefoot and you do not need any sportswear.
